An excellent filter for larger ponds. Filtration is so effective that a smaller, more energy efficient pump can be used to power it.

How do I work out the volume of water in my pond?
(a) Measure the length (L), breadth (B) and depth (D) in feet
(b) Multiply L x B x D
(c) Multiply the above answer by 6.25 = volume in gallons
(d) Multiply the volume in gallons by 4.5 = volume in litres

Automatic cleaning

Biotec 12, 18 and 36 have a pre-clarifying »Screenmatic« stage for extracting coarse debris.

The new Biotec Screenmatic enables safer and easier removal of coarse substances from the pond.
The solids are withdrawn from the filter system via an extractor sieve and are deposited into an easily-removable
collection tray through a continual wipe-off process. The Screenmatic drive cleans the sieve automatically every
30 minutes and guarantees sustainable flow.
